'An employment paralegal is someone who works on employment law matters under the supervision of licensed attorneys in a law office. Employment paralegals (also known as employment legal assistants) do not practice law, as they are not licensed attorneys, but they help lawyers in employment law matters, including those involving wage and hour laws, workplace safety, rest break laws, disability leave laws, and workplace harassment.
