We specialize in recruiting a diverse pool of excellent attorneys for law firms and corporate legal departments nationwide. We also facilitate law firm mergers and acquisitions of law firm practice groups. Carter-White & Shaw has been in business since 1991 to serve what was and still is an underserved market in legal recruiting: attorneys of color, women attorneys, gay/lesbian/bisexual/transgender attorneys, and disabled attorneys who are seeking employers that value diversity and appreciate their talents. Until recently, our firm focused solely on the placement of law firms partners. We have never had to advertise, as satisfied candidates and clients have spread the word of our ability to place excellent attorneys with diversity-conscious employers. The attorneys we have placed, their reputation for excellence, and our reputation as a result of having placed them have been the foundation of Carter-White & Shaw's continued success.
