What would you, or others, like to see changed at employer?
I would keep most things the same but I would make it mandatory for people to leave the office area and head somewhere else to talk to help keep everyone back in the office focused.
What were the things that you liked most about this employer?
This firm was a great place to work at. Not only was everyone friendly but everyone was always in a good mood and the staff and people at the front desk worked together to create an environment conducive to helping the client and getting work done on time.
What did you not like about this institution?
There were days in which it got to be a little bit too laid back and sometimes the chatter from my coworkers was too distracting.

Watt Tieder's summer associate program is the central focus of our recruiting efforts. Through our summer program, we are able to expose law students to every aspect of the firm's practice and its attorneys, as well as assess the abilities of the summer associates as future Watt, Tieder, Hoffar & Fitzgerald attorneys. The program has been very successful in helping us build our firm from the ground up with talented attorneys.
Summer associates are given a broad range of assignments designed to familiarize them with the firm's practice. We also strive to allow summer associates to work with as many attorneys as possible, including the most senior partners at the firm. Summer associate assignments range from short, one day legal research issues, to the preparation of extensive legal briefs, motions, and other pleadings. The substantive issues addressed by our summer associates relate to all areas of our practice, from complex evidentiary and civil procedure matters to more substantive contract and construction issues.
