They need to learn how to be less hateful. They build themselves and their employees up by tearing other people down. They also need to learn to be truthful about their own and their employees capabilities.
What were the things that you liked most about this employer?
They pay the prevailing market salary. That is it. There is nothing that is good about this place apart from the fact that they pay market.
What did you not like about this institution?
First and foremost, terrible culture. Second, partners (supposed "experts") who don't know what they are doing. Third, sweatshop hours. Beware of the revolving door of people getting hired and being fired/leaving because no matter how much money they pay you, it's not worth it. Beware of the firm that pays you "Cravath" but has no repeat clients and hasn't won any cases. Despite their efforts to sell you to the contrary (and they are good sales people), this place does not have cutting edge work, they do not have trials, and they will not treat you well.
People, departments, offices, products, services and whatever comes to mind that should be avoided at this institution
Pretty much all of them. They are good salespeople. They will sell you the sun and the moon. But they can't deliver.
How could this employer run its business to employees or the public better?
There aren't any. Only way to survive there is to keep your head down and fly under the radar until you can get out.
