Current Employee Current Employee Mr. San Francisco

Advice to law firm management:
Great place to start out. They pay great and have top notch benefits. They also let you get your fee in the door with the big players. But it is hard to move up past that. You might be better off working here for a while and then using your connections to get a job somewhere else. Very few people are here for the long run.

Pros:
Large but hard to move up

Cons:
Very hard if not impossible to become a shareholder in the firm. It is very much a big law firm and you are going to stay in your position for many years. It is run more like a Fortune 500 company than a law firm.
