There is a lot of work to do and lots of deadlines to achieve. If you can cope with the fast paced and competitive environment I would say that you should join this firm as you can learn a lot of new things.
Pros:
The work environment is fast paced and the environment is competitive. I would characterize this firm as competitive and interesting. The work environment is good, interesting cases, attorneys are bright and atmosphere is friendly. I learned a lot of new things while working as an attorney here. The range of work and clients that I was exposed to was stimulating and interesting.
Cons:
Remuneration is average or sometimes below average. The biggest challenge is to achieve a work/life balance as the workload is cyclical in nature when multiple engagements are occurring at the same time.

Management needs to spend more time understanding the people they're managing and less time just breezing along as part of a huge machine that they think will go on no matter what they do.
Pros:
There are lots of highly talented people in the firm and lots of interesting work. I always found something that grabbed my attention.
Cons:
Like with many firms this size, there are a bunch of downsides. Advancement is difficult. Work load is incredibly heavy. Management often makes huge mistakes with no oversight.
