Advice to law firm management:
I think that the leadership team should probably step back and take a look at the culture they have created. Demanding too much of associates has obviously had a bad effect on the culture here, and things aren't going to get better on their own. They got the compensation right, they just need to work on the culture.
Pros:
The best part of working here is definitely the pay and the benefits. There are plenty of perks that all employees can take advantage of, and the leadership team is very flexible when it comes to time off. Associates are paid as if they have value, and that does a great deal to boost morale.
Cons:
I've found that even though the pay is good and the perks are there, office morale is still pretty low. Leadership expects a lot from associates, and many are under constant pressure to perform. This sometimes gets taken out on the support staff, even though they don't deserve it.

Advice to law firm management:
Management needs to do a better job when hiring employees. Having enough people is important, but having to constantly let people go doesn't look good for morale.
Pros:
Management at this firm is some of the best I have ever worked with. They treat employees just like family and everyone gets along very well. They also offer meetings on Fridays to celebrate a good work week and discuss what could be done better.
Cons:
The only problem with this firm is the revolving door it creates. Management seems to hire people very quickly and don't do better interviews and background checks. They just seem to want the bodies and don't care whether people have experience or not.

Advice to law firm management:
The staff here needs to distribute the workload more evenly between employees. It can become difficult managing work time and outside activities when you are constantly working for the firm.
Pros:
This is a great place to establish yourself. The firm pushes it's employees to deliver the highest of quality work and does so in a very professional manner. With accommodating workspaces, competitive salaries, and ample time off, this firm goes above and beyond to meet the needs of every single employee. It was a great learning experience working with the wonderful staff here.
Cons:
As is with most firms, workload is heavy. You need to be on your best performance to keep up with the demanding work that goes in and out of these offices every day. Finding advancement within the law firm is also an exhausting task.
