If you are looking for a firm that has a quick turnaround rate and does not beat around the bush, apply for Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel LLP. They are very professional and easy to deal with!
What were the things that you liked most about this employer?
A law office that is very polite, professional, and quick to get in touch with you. This firm was very quick to get in touch with me and offered me a position right away. I did not have to negotiate or haggle my way into my position as well. If they are interested in you they will process your application and hire you right away. They do not beat around the bush!
What did you not like about this institution?
It can be difficult moving up the ranks as some times the work can be slow. They are working on this though as I have mentioned this to them multiple times.

What would you, or others, like to see changed at employer?
I would like to see management and the firm as a whole be more open in terms of what kind of job's they take on. This way we would have more work available year long and the work would be more diverse and thus more interesting.
What were the things that you liked most about this employer?
I really liked the front desk staff to attorney relationship that was in place at this firm. Everyone seemed to be on an even playing field and got along well with each other.
What did you not like about this institution?
There can be a lack of work at times which can be down putting. I also found some of the work to be quite tedious and downright boring at times.

The Diversity Committee

Everything about the Kramer Levin Summer Associate Program is meticulously designed to give you a strong start to a successful career. From the day you set foot in our New York office, you will be treated as a practicing attorney-doing real work, learning vital skills, working side-by-side with some of the finest attorneys in the world. By the time you head back to school, you will understand what it is like to be a lawyer.
Learn by Doing
The summer program will give you insight into our firm's distinct character in a way that no formal interview could. Every summer associate is given intensive, hands-on work, participating in active matters-going to court, writing memoranda, sitting in on client meetings, and generally doing what a first year associate does.
