The staff appreciates the social functions sponsored by the firm. The firm should sponsor more social events.

What were the things that you liked most about this employer?
I have been working for Kwok Daniel for 3 months. The staff are all friendly and get along remarkably well. The workload is manageable but can be challenging at times. The firm does train its new employees well and are available to guide you through new job duties. The partners treat their staff with respect and are appreciative of the work. Expect to be constantly busy as the firm brings in 50 to 60 new clients every month. Overall its a positive work environment and especially so in comparison to the work environment of alternative law firms.

What did you not like about this institution?
The firm gets new sign ups daily so your workload can change completely all the time. You have to know how to be organized and prioritize your work load.

I don't think their are any particular partners to avoid. However, many issues can be resolved without the need of going to the partners.

The staff. Everyone tries to help each other out with issues even if it is not normally part of their job role. The firm works extraordinary well as a team without any significant conflicts.

What would you, or others, like to see changed at employer?
Kwok Daniel needs more paralegal staff to help out in the property damage department, especially with the time sensitive matters.

What were the things that you liked most about this employer?
I have worked as a property damage paralegal with Kwok Daniel for almost a year. Get to spend a lot of time dealing with clients.

What did you not like about this institution?
Handling claims with insurance companies gets very, very, annoying and repetitive. Also, can sometimes feel a bit overwhelmed with everything that needs to be done.

No one stands out. I haven't had any significant problems with the partners and do most of my work independently of the lawyers.

There are a lot of friendly people working at the firm. As long as you get your work done, you shouldn't have any problems.

Overall this is a solid firm and I have no advice to the firm. The management team is efficient.

What were the things that you liked most about this employer?
The firm lives up to its mantra of "aggressive efficient personal" beginning with the founding partner and permeating throughout the organization. The firm has excellent attorneys and staff who strive to make client satisfaction their highest priority.

What did you not like about this institution?
Overall this is a very good place to work and I cannot think of a reason to not work here. I have always been treated fairly and with respect. The compensation is competitive with the market.

Both partners are excellent attorneys, savvy businessmen and compassionate people. Their leadership is invaluable. Both partners are willing to mentor and teach what they know.

The culture of caring for clients and putting their best interest first. Also, the partners are very encouraging and supportive.

The people are great here. Fun to work with. Firm is very organized. They will assist if you ever need help.

Sometimes too many internal policies/procedures to keep track of.

None. This is the first law firm I've worked in where I generally like all the attorneys here.

The people here are just awesome. Everyone has a good rapport, no matter if you've been here 15 years or 3 months. Its easy to fit into the culture.

What were the things that you liked most about this employer?
If you're looking for a law firm that will help you grow and learn, this is the place. You can have little to no experience and they will take you in and teach you everything there is to know in the field plus more.

What did you not like about this institution?
The Firm is extremely busy! There is never a slow day at Kwok Daniel Law Firm. We are constantly on the move with each case.

Neither, both are excellent leaders. When meetings are held with the partners at Kwok Daniel, everyone seems excited and motivated to reach the next goals set.

The amazing attorneys we get to work with. They all have great attitudes and are easy to talk to.

I would suggest more firm meetings and making sure the Kwok Daniel management is more accessible. Some of the lawyers would like to have more face time with the Kwok Daniel partners.

What were the things that you liked most about this employer?
The lawyers are good people. Its rare to work under lawyers that treats all their staff well. The Kwok Daniel lawyers will give you constructive feedback and want to teach you to be a better lawyer.

What did you not like about this institution?
The Kwok Daniel partners are not always accessible because they tend to be very, very busy. Sometimes it will take a while to arrange a time to meet the partners.

There are no Kwok Daniel partners I would say to avoid. However, it is important to make an appointment to meet with them.

They have a good attitude and the experience you will have at Kwok Daniel will result in you being a better lawyer. All the Kwok Daniel lawyers are exceptional and feel like I can and have learned a lot from all of them.

The firm could improve on its online presence and specifically with social media. The firm has a strong client base and social media would be a good way to engage with them.

What were the things that you liked most about this employer?
The family like atmosphere among the all the staff. Everyone at Kwok Daniel treats each other well and little to no office drama. Most staff will look out for each other to help out when they can.

What did you not like about this institution?
The partners are not always available due to a lot that is going on with the firm. We constantly get in new business and have new and often difficult issues that come up all the time. Also, a lot of the time the partners will not even be in the Houston area.

All the partners at Kwok Daniel are very approachable. However, they tend to be very busy and don't always have time for you.

What were the things that you liked most about this employer?
This firm is the best! Really put my mind at ease about my situation and From the moment I spoke to them, I knew they cared about me. They asked about my day to day life. They made sure to call me and not just ask how I'm doing but ask what else can they do. Wow. Tell called to check on my medical appointment, they got to tell me where my case was, and every call, they asked what else could they do.
