5.Current Employee, more than 3 yearsExcellent place to workAssistant Office Administrator in Washington, DCRecommendProsLove the company. Great place to work.ConsNo complaints. Great place to work.
Mediocre attorney ability Inordinate emphasis on billable hours Deceitful behavior among some partners and senior attorneys Utilization of lower level attorneys as disposable resources for profits.
Implement a good communication strategy from the top down. Have staff meetings so everyone is on the same page. Update the outdated technology in the office.
Great people to work with. There is tons of cooperation and comradery. Everyone works hard. There are no slackers here. Good benefits.
Expectations are often not communicated effectively. Communication period is a huge problem. Everyone feels off. Nepotism is an issue.
As I already mentioned, I would like to see management hire a few attorneys that are experienced in not getting too emotionally involved with cases. We could get more work done if we were not so emotionally attached to our results.
What I like most about my home away from home is how well my fellow attorneys tend to bond with their clients. I feel as though everyone really cares about the cases they are working on.
Sometimes we can care a little bit too much. I really feel as though we need management to hire a few people that are experienced in terms of not getting too emotionally involved with the results of each case.
Update your technology, and have more staff meetings to keep this staff together and on the same page.
The starting salary and benefits are really good. In my time here, I've been able to have really good balance between work and my social life.
This is a very old fashioned company; the software is prehistoric. They need to update their technology. I've seen a lot of turnover here, mostly in part to one particular individual. Nearly twenty attorneys left the firm in less than a year and a half.
Thank you.
