Commercial Litigation Law Firm on May 19, 2024 - Former Employee Mr. in San Francisco City,

Former Employee

Advice to law firm management:
Please take time to check on and see how the lower level employees are being treated and feel about their job. Some of them are really not happy people.

Pros:
The environment is relaxed, staff is friendly and attorneys are competent. The benefits are excellent as is the working culture. They have some of the best attorneys in the industry.

Cons:
The work load is pretty slow sometimes. The attorneys are great but I cannot say the same for the staff, who are rude and condescending.

Great atmosphere and advancement prospects on May 19, 2024 - Current Employee Mr. in San Francisco City,

Advice to law firm management:
Management over some departments needs to reign in some of the poor performers. It cuts down on morale and makes it harder for the rest of us.

Pros:
While I had a hard time at first adjusting to the new ways compared to my old job, this place has ending up very beneficial. I have learned a lot, the management helps to improve myself and my productivity, and it's great to be in a place that does that for the employee.

Cons:
There are some sectors of the main office area that are poor performing and have little supervision. I feel other people cover for them quite often, and it seems that the law firm would benefit from a little more discipline.
