Fall Internship The intern should have ability to research complicated topics and arguments and then to simplify them. Well-developed writing abilities (we put a huge emphasis on writing as responding to constituent letters is a huge priority in our office) required. Good communication, both written and verbal required. Hours: 9-1pm or 1 pm to 5 pm.
Applications from individuals who have been employed by the Department of Justice in any capacity after law school graduation are not considered via the SLIP. This does not include past DOJ summer experience or employment with a . Attorney's Office. Law students graduating law school in 2023 or earlier are not eligible. Appellate Court Clerkships The candidate work generally for one year. Must have a JD degree, or equivalent, from an accredited law school before beginning employment and must agree to a criminal background check.

Term Law Clerk The Honorable District Judge Howard C. Nielson Jr. The candidate should preferably have a class standing in the Top 10%. Law Review/Journal experience is preferred. Clerkship Term: August 1, 2024 - August 1, 2025. Application Deadline: July 31, 2024.
