Labor & Employment/Education Staff Attorney or Counsel The candidate will focus on providing exceptional legal services to higher educational institutions in Title IX, Title VII, and ADA matters. Duties will include conducting internal investigations as an independent third party or acting as a hearing officer for remote or in-person proceedings. Other duties may include legal and investigative research, conducting interviews, conducting training, report writing, evidence review, and client counseling. Must have 3+ years of experience in employment and education law. Must be licensed or have the ability to become licensed to practice law in the state in which they will work. Must possess exceptional analytical, written, and oral communication skills, a strong work ethic, and excellent academic credentials. Should have background in employment law, both litigation and counseling. Experience working with education clients is preferred. Should have the ability to manage multiple client needs. Knowledge of relevant federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, codes, rules, regulations, court decisions, and legal interpretations related to employment and students in higher educational institutions.
