As a Staff Counsel III, you will be responsible for handling a large volume of general liability cases from inception to trial. You will work closely with AmTrust's insureds and claims professionals to provide effective and timely legal advice and services. This position offers a competitive salary range of $145K - $185K per year and excellent career advancement opportunities.

H2: Immediate Need for Attorney with Litigation Experience in New York
H2: Remote or Irvine Location Available

Responsibilities:

- Independently handle a large volume of general liability cases
- Analyze complex legal and factual issues
- Conduct legal research
- Develop and present defense strategies
- Prepare pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Provide effective and timely communication and legal advice
- Work closely with AmTrust's claims professionals
- Responsible for prompt and efficient case disposition

Qualifications:

- JD from an ABA approved school
- Licensed to practice in New York
- 5+ years of general liability defense litigation experience
- Excellent knowledge of civil procedure and rules of evidence
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Deposition and alternative dispute resolution experience required, trial experience preferred

Salary Range: $145K - $185K per year
