Day Pitney is seeking an experienced associate to join their Private Client Department (PCD) as a Private Client International Estate Planning Associate / Senior Associate. This position can be located in any of Day Pitney's multiple offices nationwide, providing flexibility and opportunity for growth and development.

Job Description
The ideal candidate for this position will have at least 4 years of experience in international estate planning for high-net-worth individuals and companies. They should have a strong background in cross-border tax planning, advising both . and . taxpayers on wealth management structures that consider multi-jurisdictional tax and legal considerations. Experience with foreign trusts, pre-immigration and expatriation planning, planning for the purchase of . property by . persons, and compliance with tax and reporting obligations for those with overseas interests in foreign accounts, corporations, and trusts is preferred.
Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive international estate planning advice to high-net-worth individuals and companies
• Advise on cross-border tax planning strategies
• Assist with foreign trusts, pre-immigration and expatriation planning, and compliance with tax and reporting obligations for overseas interests
• Collaborate with the Family Office team to provide multidisciplinary services to clients
• Stay up-to-date with changes in international tax laws and regulations
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and provide exceptional client service
• Work effectively and collaboratively within a team environment
Requirements
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in sophisticated international estate planning matters
• Excellent technical, professional, and client service skills
• Strong written and verbal communication and advocacy skills
• Team-oriented with an emphasis on collaboration
• Effective and efficient problem-solving capabilities
• Member in good standing in the jurisdiction you plan to practice (required)

Salary Information
The salary range for this position in New York is $200,000 - $245,000 annually, contingent on relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and other relevant factors.
