Position: Associate Director of Practice Management – RE & PCS
Experience: At least 6 years as a RE or PCS lawyer in a large law firm
Salary: $215,000 - $240,000 per year
Location: New York, United States

Responsibilities:

- Work closely with department leadership on managing departments, including resource allocation and productivity management
- Plan and coordinate department events and team-building activities
- Manage department budgets and monitor attorney and paralegal productivity and performance
- Coach attorneys on career advancement and skills development strategies
- Implement training programs and facilitate training initiatives
- Participate in evaluation and promotion process for attorneys
- Collaborate with department leadership and recruiting team for future workforce needs
- Assist with hiring processes and orientation of new associates and laterals
- Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives and pro bono goals
- Work on ad-hoc projects as needed

Qualifications:

- Juris Doctor Degree
- At least 6 years of experience as a RE or PCS lawyer in a large law firm
- General understanding of transactional practices and interest in practice management
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Enthusiasm for professional development
- Ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands
- Flexibility to work outside regular business hours

- Base compensation: $215,000 - $240,000 per year
- Actual salary offered based on qualifications, experience, education, and location
- Physical presence in Proskauer's offices required at least 3x per week, or more as needed.
