This position offers ample training and mentorship opportunities within a collaborative, multi-office IP litigation team of dedicated lawyers who have an unparalleled track record of success. We take an integrated, multidisciplinary approach that provides a broader perspective on how intellectual property issues affect key legal and business decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Federal court litigation focused on trademark, copyright, trade dress, rights of publicity, trade secret, false advertising, and unfair competition
- Drafting pleadings, responding and arguing motions, and preparing expert reports
- Assisting with discovery and settlement strategies, including mediation and other types of dispute resolution
- Conducting UDRP proceedings and . litigation
- Trademark clearance, filing strategy, prosecution and enforcement domestically and globally
- Managing global trademark portfolios
- Advising clients on copyright issues, advertising copy review, and rights of privacy and publicity
Salary Range: $260,000 to $420,000 (based on experience)
Requirements:
- 3-6 years of litigation experience
- Strong academic credentials
- Licensed to practice law in the State of New York and in good standing
