Our full-service law firm has over 300 attorneys located in 15 offices across New York, as well as in Boston, Kansas City, FL, and NJ. We are dedicated to providing our clients with exceptional legal services and are looking for a highly skilled and motivated associate to join our Business Restructuring, Creditors' Rights, and Bankruptcy practice.
As a Bankruptcy & Corporate Restructuring Associate, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse and experienced team of lawyers who have a broad range of backgrounds. Our team is equipped with the necessary skills to represent a wide variety of clients in all aspects of restructuring and insolvency matters. This includes borrowers and other debtors, secured lenders and other lienholders, vendors and other trade creditors, creditor committees, trustees, and other court-appointed fiduciaries.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with clients in various industries such as corporate, not-for-profit, health care, higher education, real estate, insurance, environmental, intellectual property, tax, and labor law. This will allow you to gain valuable experience and provide clients with full-service legal support for all their needs.
We are looking for candidates with 2-5 years of experience in commercial bankruptcy and financial restructuring matters who are admitted to practice in New York state. Applicants should also have a . degree from an accredited law school, excellent academic credentials, and strong communication skills. A dedication to client service is also essential for success in this role.
