- Organize and prepare trial materials and attend hearings and trials
- Provide direction and guidance to project assistants
- Bachelor's degree and ABA-approved paralegal certificate preferred
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal in a law firm or specialized practice
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent research, verbal, and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, litigation support software, and deposition management software

Law Firm Seeks Experienced Litigation Paralegal in Miami, FL
The prestigious law firm of Vedder Price is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our team in Miami, FL. In this role, you will work closely with attorneys on a variety of administrative and substantive tasks for cases, including managing the eDiscovery process and coordinating with outside vendors and agencies. If you have a Bachelor's degree, ABA-approved paralegal certificate, and a minimum of 7 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, we encourage you to apply.
Assist Attorneys with Administrative and Substantive Tasks
- Participate in initial client and witness interviews, investigations, and fact analysis
- Coordinate and run background searches, public records research, and bio summaries
- Analyze documentary evidence and prepare chronologies, timelines, and more
- Coordinate with outside vendors and agencies such as court reporters and eDiscovery vendors
- Assist with proofreading, fact checking, and case law retrieval
- Manage and organize large volumes of documents for eDiscovery
- Assist with compiling data and running data analytics
- Prepare templates and initial drafts of legal documents
- Prepare deposition testimony categorization using deposition review tools
- Provide factual support for statements of facts and draft initial statements
- Organize and prepare trial materials, including pleadings, witness prep materials, and more
- Attend and assist attorneys in the courtroom at hearings, trials, and arbitrations
- Provide direction and guidance to project assistants on the case team
Qualifications & Required Experience
- Bachelor's degree
- ABA-approved paralegal certificate preferred
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal in a law firm or specialized practice
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize and multitask
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet competing demands
- Excellent research, verbal, and written communication skills
- Experience with litigation support software, such as Relativity and Everlaw, preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Availability for overtime and travel, as needed
- This role is hybrid and will require at least three days of work in the office
