The Opportunity:

- Join a top-ranked law firm with a history dating back to 1856
- Work with a diverse range of clients, including Fortune 100 corporations and state and local governments
- Practice in a variety of industries, including education, energy, and health care
- Collaborate with a team of over 200 lawyers across multiple offices in New York state and beyond
- Work remotely or from one of the firm's offices in New York City, Uniondale, White Plains, or Stamford

Responsibilities:

- Take and defend depositions
- Research legal, medical, and scientific issues
- Draft motions, briefs, and other legal documents
- Communicate with clients and expert witnesses
- Participate in trial, mediation, and ADR preparation
- Represent clients in court appearances

Qualifications:

- 6-10+ years of experience in general/premises liability and/or product liability matters
- Admission in New York; New Jersey admission a plus
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school
- Familiarity with New York courts
- Strong research, writing, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage competing deadlines
- Military experience welcome

Salary Information:

- Uniondale & White Plains: $145,000 - $165,000
- New York City: $160,000 - $175,000
