eMerge Senior Discovery Attorney
The candidate will collaborate with other eMerge attorneys, technologists, case teams, and clients to craft and manage case-specific workflows and protocols for eDiscovery with the goals of risk mitigation, cost control and defensibility while remaining focused on identifying the information necessary to yield successful case outcomes. Oversee and ensure the quality of work and deliverables for associated eMerge Discovery Attorneys, Project Attorneys, technologists, and service providers (where applicable) to ensure consistency, accuracy and efficiency. Must have 5-7 years of experience advising and supporting case teams and clients on all discovery phases of each matter, from preservation through production, as well as pre-litigation information governance, post-production deposition/witness preparation, and trial preparation when applicable. In-depth knowledge of eDiscovery laws, regulations and industry best practices is required. Proficiency with preservation, filtering and export capabilities of corporate messaging, collaboration, and productivity solutions, including Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace is needed. Expertise with Relativity is strongly preferred. Must be licensed and in good standing in the state of practice. Should have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex legal and technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
