Legal Team Assistant - Providing Administrative Support to Attorneys in a Collaborative Environment
Salary: Commensurate with experience
Job Title: Legal Team Assistant
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a law firm environment
The Law Firm is currently seeking a Legal Team Assistant to join our team and provide administrative support to attorneys office-wide. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with others in a team-oriented environment to deliver the highest level of service to internal and external clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare legal correspondence, documents, and materials for filing with courts
Process check requests and attorneys' expenses
Create and maintain original and electronic client case files
Retrieve and prepare files for closing and off-site storage
Collaborate with Office Administrator to complete local office projects and tasks
Work with CST Specialists, ARC Team, and other Legal Team Assistants
Adhere to all firm policies and maintain confidentiality
Qualifications:
Associate's Degree preferred, but applicable work experience will be considered
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a law firm environment
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Proficiency with office equipment and MS Office Suite
Strong communication skills and professional demeanor
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
This job operates in a clerical, office setting and requires exertion of physical strength to lift, carry, push, or move objects up to 50 pounds. The worker must also have close visual acuity for tasks such as preparing and analyzing data, transcribing, and viewing a computer terminal.
