Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Power BI Development: Design, develop, and maintain advanced Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models for various stakeholders.
- Data Integration: Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into Power BI, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- SQL Expertise: Utilize strong SQL skills to query and manipulate data to support reporting requirements.
- SSRS Reports: Develop and enhance SSRS reports to complement Power BI solutions when necessary.
- Data Modeling: Create and optimize data models in Power BI for efficient analysis and visualization.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and training to junior developers and analysts in Power BI best practices.
- Lead Implementation: Manage end-to-end implementation of Power BI projects, from requirements gathering to deployment.
- Performance Optimization: Identify and implement improvements in existing Power BI solutions for enhanced efficiency and user experience.
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective Power BI solutions.
- Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with latest Power BI features, trends, and best practices to improve reporting capabilities.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

- 6+ years of proven experience as a Power BI Developer, with a strong portfolio of reports and dashboards.
- Expertise in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Proficiency in SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services).
- Strong data modeling skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Effective communication and mentoring skills.
- Experience leading and managing Power BI projects.
- Certifications in Power BI are a plus.
Compensation:
- Actual base pay offered will depend on qualifications, years of experience, education level, and work location.
- Anticipated pay range:
- San Francisco and Silicon Valley: $116,875 - $158,125 per year
- Austin, Boston, Boulder, District of Columbia, Los Angeles, New York, San Diego, Seattle, and Wilmington: $105,400 - $142,600 per year
- Salt Lake City and all other locations: $93,500 - $126,500 per year
