Nacelle is a law firm that specializes in providing legal services to renewable energy project developers, owners, and operators for various types of projects, including solar, battery energy storage, wind, green fuels, floating solar, and distributed generation. They also provide legal services for data center projects. They are currently seeking a paralegal with experience in real estate transactions to join their team and assist with the development, financing, construction, and operation of these projects. This is an independent contractor position with a salary based on experience and qualifications.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Draft and review real estate agreements for renewable energy and data center projects
- Review property ownership and draft legal descriptions
- Address title and survey matters and draft necessary documents
- Conduct due diligence for projects
- Coordinate closings and track requirements and key dates
- Support project financing and M&A transactions

Requirements:

- Excellent writing skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain positive relationships with clients and colleagues
- Previous experience in a law firm or in-house in commercial real estate preferred
- Familiarity with real estate contract terms and relevant legal and commercial issues
- Interest in renewable energy projects
