Manager - Tax Credits & Incentives Advisory - Professional Services

- The Tax Credits & Incentive Advisory (TCIA) team provides a range of services to clients, including cost segregation, R&D tax incentives, fixed asset services, and more.
- The Manager in this role will help develop the vision, strategies, and action plans to continue growing the TCIA Practice.
Responsibilities:
- Separating cost components of buildings into proper asset classifications and recovery periods.
- Identifying assets with incorrect tax lives.
- Managing internal resources and working on IRC Section 41 Research credit engagements.
- Identifying Qualified Research Expenses in various industries.
- Calculating the IRC Section 41 Research Credit.
- Understanding Controlled Group rules in research credit calculation.
- Communicating with tax managers, VPs, and technical company personnel.
- Leading and working with local and national C/AM team members.
- Collaborating with other TCIA and Strategic Financial Services (SFS) members to grow the practice in areas such as accounting methods, energy credits, and state incentives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, engineering, technology, or related field.
- CPA, MST, MAcc, LLM, or JD required.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in federal tax compliance or consulting.
- Experience with costing models and excel pivot tables.
- Desire to participate in strategic planning initiatives.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Preference given to candidates with experience in accounting methods.
- Candidates can be located in any of the firm's local offices or work remotely.

Salary Range: $96,235 to $197,500
