Are you a talented iManage Engineer looking for a new opportunity? Look no further than K&L Gates! We are a global law firm with a strong commitment to innovation and a diverse workforce. We are seeking a skilled iManage Engineer to join our Information Technology Department and help support our Enterprise Applications Team. This is a key role responsible for the day-to-day engineering, security, design, and escalated daily support functions of our iManage Document Management Systems and related applications.
Key Relationships:
- Work closely with Global Information Technology Teams
- Build relationships with peer engineers and developers, application architects, project managers, business analysts, and external vendors
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams from various departments such as Records, Security, Data Governance, and Finance
Essential Duties:
Engineering and Security:
- Responsible for day-to-day engineering, security, design, and escalated daily support functions of iManage Document Management Systems and related applications
- Write scripts/code/workflows to automate iManage platform
- Demonstrate ability to self-learn applications, SaaS, code, and workflows
- Troubleshoot issues and provide level III support escalation
- Follow process, procedure, and policy for support
- Administer, maintain, patch, and upgrade applications in a Microsoft Windows/Azure environment
- Enforce enterprise standards, best practices, and documentation standards
Drive Value:
- Work with Senior Enterprise Applications Architect to drive use and automations on iManage cloud platform
- Possess working knowledge of Document Management Platform and necessary integrations
- Work with Quality Assurance (QA) team and assist with testing efforts
- Understand AI technologies and their interaction with DMS and other firm technology systems
Collaboration:
- Collaborate with Global Information Technology Teams to integrate AI systems, document tools, and communication platforms with iManage cloud platforms
- Work with project managers and business analysts to implement solutions
- Interface with peers and other teams, and coach lower-level Engineers
Project Interaction:
- Work with other Enterprise Application Engineers and Developers, Enterprise Architects, Project Managers, and Business Analysts
- Serve as Lead in implementing enterprise initiatives and complex 3rd party applications
- Build working relationships with end users and business owners
- Participate in enterprise-level/team projects and application engineering, while coaching lower-level Engineers
- Manage requirements gathering process
Additional Duties:
- Ability to work nights and weekends as needed
- Must be able to self-manage workload and track time
- Must be able to self-learn, troubleshoot, evaluate, and integrate applications/software/workflow
- Participate in product circles and manage work in work management system
- Write test scripts, provide QA and end-user testing
Experience & Skills Required:
- . in Computer Science or equivalent education/experience
- Ability to multi-task, coach and mentor, work under pressure, and handle interruptions
- Aptitude to effectively communicate verbally and in writing, and interact with diverse personalities
- Minimum of 6+ years of experience with iManage systems/platforms and professional service organizations
- Proven expertise working on large-scale projects, ideally in legal technology or highly regulated industries
- Knowledge of global data handling and regulatory standards, including legal-specific standards
- Familiarity with Microsoft Cloud platform tools and AI technologies
- Minimum of 6+ years of application support and administration or related experience
- Minimum of 3+ years working with PowerShell/PowerAutomate or similar scripting language/workflow tool
- Ability to write technical documentation and training materials
Experience & Skills Preferred:
- Deep knowledge of the legal industry and Document Management Systems
- Knowledge of a wide range of cloud technologies, preferably in Microsoft/Azure stack
- Advanced knowledge of KCS methodology
- Possesses two or more applicable iManage Cloud Systems certifications
- Experience understanding business workflow inside DMS systems and offering solutions
Additional Abilities Required:
- Flexibility to work nights and weekends
- Effectively present ideas to medium-sized groups
- Ability to work on/with a team in different offices and time zones
- Ability to travel if needed
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, iManage, and other firm applications
- Ability to work in an office setting or suitable remote working location
Compensation Salary: $108,000 - $162,000/year
