Overview:

- Orrick is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager for Litigation to join their team in any of their US offices.
- The objective of this role is to drive revenue opportunities and enhance the firm's market presence.
- The Senior Business Development Manager will work closely with sector and practice leaders to develop and execute go-to-market strategies.
- This role will also involve supporting pitch strategies, client insights, event management, and storytelling to effectively communicate the firm's capabilities.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in strategic planning, client service, and team collaboration, with a deep understanding of Litigation.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with senior leaders to develop go-to-market plans that support Litigation objectives.
- Coach partners on individual business plans and connect them with specialized business development professionals.
- Develop metrics to track progress in collaboration with BD Operations and the data analytics team.
- Collaborate with the Campaign and Communications teams to deliver thought leadership that positions the firm as a Litigation leader.
- Help partners develop pitch strategies and value propositions based on sector capabilities and client needs.
- Lead the drafting of Litigation sector pitches, RFPs, and presentations.
- Collaborate with Research and Business Intelligence and Data teams to share market intelligence and uncover revenue opportunities.
- Provide input on Litigation events, sponsorships, and CLEs.
- Help communicate the firm's Litigation story internally and externally.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of marketing experience in business development and marketing for Litigation practices.
- Strong understanding of Litigation clients' needs.
- Strong client service approach with the ability to build and manage relationships.
- Collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
- Exceptional communication and project management skills.
- Growth mindset and ability to adapt quickly to change.
- Litigation experience strongly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:

- Expected salary range between $129,000 - $195,000 per year.
