Job Summary:
- Seeking an experienced and motivated attorney to lead our Indiana practice at **** Law Firm
- Majority of practice is focused on consumer & commercial debt collection, with additional responsibilities in creditor bankruptcy matters and replevins
- Opportunity to operate as a solo practitioner with the support of an onsite paralegal and established firm
- Ideal candidate must have experience in consumer debt collection and exposure to bankruptcy law, with training provided by experienced bankruptcy staff
- Represent national and regional creditors across Indiana
- Control over income with commission based on both existing and new business generated
- Enjoy a hybrid work environment with both in-office and remote options available

Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage consumer debt collection caseload for national and regional creditors in Indiana
- Review and approve all pleadings, motions, and executions
- Handle cases in collections, replevins, and bankruptcy
- Represent creditors in State and Federal Bankruptcy courts, including filing lawsuits, attending court hearings, and negotiating settlements
- Communicate with clients to provide updates, advise on legal matters, and answer questions
- Attend all court matters
- Market within the State to grow business
- Assist with client audits and attend professional conferences
- Manage Indiana office with support of firm's processes and resources
- Perform other duties as required and assigned

Qualifications and Requirements:
- 3+ years' experience in consumer and commercial debt collection, with knowledge of FDCPA and CFPB compliance regulations
- Law license in Indiana required, license in another footprint state is a plus
- Highly organized, self-motivated, with strong work ethic and client-focused attitude
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, BKFS, and Tempo a plus
- Travel required for court matters within Indiana
