Major Duties and Responsibilities:

- Manage a large legal staff in the creditor's rights department
- Stay up-to-date on legal policies and federal and state regulatory issues
- Communicate with clients regarding legal and regulatory issues and performance
- Ensure compliance with state and federal laws and court procedures
- Work on special projects as needed

Qualifications and Skills:

- Must be licensed to practice in Colorado
- Strong understanding of company policies and procedures
- Advanced knowledge of creditor's rights and legal process
- Familiarity with laws and regulations affecting debt buying and collection industries
- Technologically adept, experience with software such as Cogent a plus
- Ability to handle a high caseload effectively
- Critical thinking and strategic skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Team player, able to work with attorneys and staff to develop case strategies
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Limited travel required for court appearances and industry meetings

We are currently seeking an experienced attorney to join our Creditor's Rights Department in our Denver, Colorado office.

As an attorney at our firm, you will have the opportunity to manage a large legal staff and work on a variety of challenging cases. You will need to have a strong understanding of company policies and procedures, as well as advanced knowledge of creditor's rights and the legal process. Familiarity with laws and regulations affecting debt buying and collection industries is also essential. Technological proficiency, particularly with software like Cogent, is a plus.

In this role, you will be responsible for staying up-to-date on legal policies and federal and state regulatory issues, as well as communicating with clients regarding current legal and regulatory issues and performance. You will also ensure compliance with state and federal laws, and work on special projects as needed. The ability to handle a high caseload effectively, think critically and strategically, and work well with a team of attorneys and staff to develop case strategies is essential for success in this position.

To be considered for this position, you must be licensed to practice in Colorado and have a minimum of 5 years experience in creditor's rights and related areas of law. We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000-$90,000 per year, dependent on experience.
