Responsibilities:
- Manage portfolio of real estate clients and act as point of contact for internal and external clients
- Build and maintain client relationships and deliver high quality tax service and advice
- Work with cross-functional account team for clients
- Oversee financial performance of client engagements
- Advise clients and deliver high quality tax service and advice
- Participate in market and business activities supporting high growth sectors
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a tax manager with a public accounting firm
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
- Licensed CPA, JD/LLM, EA, or other approved credentials
- Proficiency in taxation of REITs, partnerships, and other flow-through entities
- Exceptional skills in reviewing 1120-REIT and 1065 tax returns
- Excellent research and writing skills
- Applied working knowledge of REIT and partnership tax regulations and ASC 740
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience managing multiple client engagements and service teams
