Key Responsibilities:
Conduct complex research projects in the prosecution of Knight Law's cases
Serve as second or third chair in trial efforts
Draft moving papers and oppositions on novel and complex issues
Appear at hearings for motions and oppositions
Conduct depositions of key witnesses
Provide assistance with trial strategy
Oversee and train junior attorneys
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement firm policies and procedures
Provide legal support for inter- and intradepartmental operations
Timely resolution of any issues that may arise
Qualifications and Skills:
. from an ABA accredited law school
Member in good standing of the California Bar
Minimum of 7 years of litigation experience as a licensed attorney
Genuine interest in consumer protection and representation
Hunger for professional growth
Collaborative and team-oriented mentality
Experience supervising and training junior attorneys preferred
Bilingual in Spanish preferred, but not required
Proficient in MS Office, Westlaw, and Outlook
Excellent problem-solving skills
Strong written and oral communication abilities
Exceptional organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to learn and utilize technology solutions
Ability to travel within California for court appearances, vehicle inspections, and depositions
Ability to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
