- Provides legal services and representation for assigned county offices, area adoption offices, and regional Day Care licensing office
- Represents the agency in Family Court on issues related to child protection, foster care, adoption, adult protection, and economic services
- Works under the supervision of a senior attorney for one year, handling duties such as drafting pleadings, interviewing witnesses, and assisting in trials
- Utilizes the Legal Case Management System for legal operations and documentation
- Attends meetings, trainings, and other learning opportunities related to child welfare and adult protective services
- Gathers and analyzes data to improve child welfare caseload management
- Must be a member of the South Carolina Bar

- Must possess a valid driver's license
