Qualifications and Experience:
• Advanced degree (. or .) in Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Biochemistry or Chemical Engineering.
• 1-4 years of patent prosecution experience, preferably with pharmaceutical prosecution experience.
• Experience with USPTO communications and familiarity with diligence matters, such as clearance studies and opinion work.
• Ability to support the technical aspects of litigation as needed.
• Must be licensed to practice before the USPTO or qualified to sit for the patent bar.
Salary Information:
• Salary range for positions based in the NYC office is $225,000 to $310,000, depending on experience.
Location: Multiple Offices across the US (Austin, Dallas, Houston, New York, Palo Alto, San Francisco, Washington, DC)
Responsibilities:
• Conduct patent drafting, prosecution, and strategy for cutting-edge intellectual property matters.
• Support the technical aspects of litigation as needed.
• Communicate with the USPTO and handle diligence matters, such as clearance studies and opinion work.
