This is a temporary position through June 30, 2024, with the potential for extension and permanent employment based on grant funding and employee performance. The hourly rate for this position is per hour.

Organization Information

TIP is a non-profit organization that provides immigration legal services to low-income individuals and families in central and southern Illinois. Our team is dedicated to helping individuals navigate the complex and ever-changing immigration system.

Position Description

As a Data Coordinator, you will work under the direction of the Social Services Director to design and maintain data collection and reporting systems within our case management system in compliance with funder guidelines. This role requires strong independent problem-solving skills and a high level of computer literacy.

Responsibilities

In this role, your responsibilities will include creating and modifying forms, fields, profiles, modules, and reports in our case management system, attending training to understand grant reporting guidelines and modify the system accordingly, and communicating with grantors regarding data requirements and questions. You will also be responsible for gathering data for grant reporting purposes and completing grant reporting accurately and in a timely manner. Additionally, you will attend training to implement responsive forms and maximize efficiency of TIP operations through LegalServer customization.

Position Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have excellent independent problem-solving skills, be skilled in Excel/Sheets, and live in Illinois. A high level of computer literacy is also required.

Experience and Education

A Bachelor's degree in social work, computer science, or a related field is preferred for this position. Previous experience in data management and reporting is also preferred, as well as knowledge of grant reporting guidelines and requirements.

Benefits

In addition to the hourly rate of per hour, this position offers optional health insurance enrollment for full-time employees, with coverage for individual employees effective on the 1st day of the month following the 1st day of employment. Optional vision and dental insurance is also available. Employees enrolled in the company health insurance plan are eligible for $220/month in Health Savings Account contributions during this plan year. After two full years of employment, employees are eligible for potential company-paid retirement contributions.

Leave and Length of Employment

This is an at-will position that is expected to be long-term, but is grant dependent. Employees working 40 hours per week are eligible for 3 days of sick leave, 5 personal leave days, 12 vacation days, and 11 holidays during the first year of employment. Part-time employees are eligible for pro-rated PTO.

Location and Travel Requirements

The Data Coordinator will work in person at one of our Central Illinois offices in Normal or Champaign. However, authorization for remote work may be granted by a supervisor and is subject to change. Frequent travel throughout central and southern Illinois is required for data input at workshops.
