Senior Counsel, Compliance and Litigation - Full-time, Remote
Salary Information: Base Pay Range $200,000 - $275,000, eligible for bonus incentive compensation
Experience: 8+ years as a practicing attorney, 3+ years as in-house counsel at a SaaS or other high-growth technology company
Position Overview:
- Seeking a Senior Counsel, Compliance and Litigation to join Procore's Legal, Regulatory, & Compliance (“LRC”) Department
- Responsible for providing legal advice on commercial matters, managing risk, and promoting ethical business conduct
- Will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and industry best practices
- Will also handle internal investigations, develop compliance policies and training initiatives, and manage global commercial litigation
- Position reports to the Vice President & Associate General Counsel, Global Litigation, Employment Law, Ethics & Compliance
- Remote or office location options available
Responsibilities:
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including LRC, Compliance, Sales/Go-To-Market, Customer Support, Finance, IT, and Internal Audit
- Manage and mitigate legal risks, ensuring compliance with policies, regulations, and contractual obligations
- Develop and implement scalable legal solutions for regulatory and contractual requirements
- Manage global commercial litigation from initial demand to final resolution
- Track and report on the status and outcomes of investigations, litigation matters, and dispute resolution issues
- Monitor legal trends and developments and assist in developing training materials for internal teams
Requirements:
- JD from an accredited law school and admitted, active, and in good standing with the state bar
- 8+ years of experience as a practicing attorney with extensive commercial litigation experience
- Expertise in legal risks and regulations applicable to SaaS and technology industries
- Experience managing disputes and providing risk assessments and legal solutions
- Experience developing and implementing corporate policies and procedures
- Highly agile, results-oriented, and able to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with key stakeholders
