The successful candidate will also have an additional, active license to practice in one or more of the following states: IN, KY, NC, PA, OH, and/or WV. This is a full-time, remote position with the flexibility to work from a home office or co-working space.
Job Responsibilities:
Independently handle cases from inception to resolution.
Develop and execute strategies for advocating for clients.
Communicate with courts, administrative offices, financial institutions, and clients.
Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, and appeals.
Attend hearings and trials.
Competencies, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Graduate of an ABA accredited law school.
Minimum of 3 years of substantive legal experience.
Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
Ability to work independently and remotely with a team.
Self-motivated and disciplined to work from a home office.
Highly organized with good time management skills.
Resourceful and proactive in problem-solving.
Confident and accountable for case outcomes.
Tech-savvy with working knowledge of Mac/Apples, Microsoft Office 365, Adobe Acrobat, and timekeeping software.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of substantive legal experience.
Graduate of an ABA accredited law school.
Active license to practice in Virginia and at least one other state (IN, KY, NC, PA, OH, and/or WV).
Medicaid, administrative law, litigation, probate, and estate experience preferred.
Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Mac/Apples, Microsoft Office 365, Adobe Acrobat, and timekeeping software.
