Senior Counsel - Insurance Defense and Trial Advocacy at Law Firm in New York, NY

Responsibilities:
- Develop a compelling case theme to counter plaintiff strategies
- Refuse to settle for mediocrity and strive for excellence
- Independently handle court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials
- Collaborate with team members of varying experience levels
- Communicate regularly with clients
- Foster relationships with existing and potential clients
- Provide guidance and leadership to less experienced attorneys

Requirements:
- JD from an ABA approved school
- Active bar license in the State of New York
- 8+ years of solid litigation experience, including support, depositions, and trials
- Ability to manage full case responsibilities, from discovery to trial
- Experience in insurance defense preferred
- Familiarity with time management systems
- Proficiency in MS Suite, specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Professional and polished demeanor

Pay Range:
$150,000 - $200,000 USD per year
