As a Paralegal at Husch Blackwell, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of legal tasks, including fact investigation, legal research, document preparation, and client service. With a focus on our California asbestos practice, you will also have the chance to participate in discovery, trial preparation, and other key duties. Responsibilities:
• Provide assistance to attorneys in various legal tasks, including fact investigation, legal research, and document preparation
• Manage databases for document production and case management
• Participate in discovery, trial preparation, and other litigation tasks
• Maintain a professional demeanor and comply with firm policies
• Mentor and supervise Paralegal Assistants
• Anticipate attorney needs and provide proactive support
• Meet billable hour requirements
Requirements:
• Ability to deliver superior service and communicate effectively with internal and external customers
• Strong organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to changing demands
• High level of professional integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to lead and motivate others, including performance evaluation, goal-setting, and employee development
Qualifications:
• Mandatory experience in Asbestos/Toxic Tort litigation
• Paralegal Certificate or Bachelor's degree in a law related field, or Associate's degree and paralegal training
