Overview:
Moss Adams is seeking a Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Tax Senior Manager to join our team. This is a full-time position located in various locations across the United States, including New York, California, Colorado, Washington, Texas, and Oregon. The M&A Tax Senior Manager will work with a talented team to provide tax due diligence, tax structuring, and other M&A tax services to clients in a variety of industries. Responsibilities:
- Engage directly with c-suite executives to perform financial due diligence on middle-market companies in a variety of industries
- Collaborate with private equity firms, strategic clients, and investment banks to perform buy-side and sell-side due diligence, as well as other M&A tax activities
- Manage client relationships, analyze and execute client deliverables, and coach and supervise team members
- Coordinate with other practice areas within the firm to provide comprehensive services to clients
- Build and maintain relationships with existing clients through networking and business development activities
- Provide leadership and supervision to staff, seniors, and managers

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
- Master’s degree in Taxation or JD with LLM in taxation preferred
- Minimum of 7 years of related experience, preferably in a public accounting or law firm
- CPA required, or must meet educational requirements to obtain CPA license upon hire
- Previous experience in tax due diligence and M&A tax consulting preferred
- Proven experience leading M&A tax services engagement teams at a large national professional services firm preferred
- Strong market facing skills to develop new business and maintain excellent client relationships
- Minimum of 4 years of supervisory and training experience
- Proven experience managing multiple client engagements
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong analytical, presentation, and marketing skills
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% to client locations
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills

Compensation and Benefits:
The typical pay range for this position is listed below, but actual pay may vary based on factors such as internal equity, knowledge, experience, skillset, and geographic location. Compensation Range:
- Washington State: $203,000 - $308,000
- California State: $217,000 - $352,000
- Colorado State: $203,000 - $294,000
- New York State: $203,000 - $323,000
- Remote: $203,000 - $294,000
