Law Firm Seeking Legal Assistant/Paralegal on James Island - $40K/yr

Job Description:

The **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***., located on James Island, is seeking a legal assistant/paralegal to join our team. We are a small firm with a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, and we are looking for someone with experience managing pre-litigation personal injury cases. In this role, you will be responsible for tasks such as organizing medical records and other documents, preparing correspondence, communicating with clients and other professionals, and handling limited administrative tasks. This is a full-time position with a salary of $40,000 per year, plus bonuses and PTO.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage pre-litigation personal injury cases
- Retrieve and organize medical records and other documents
- Prepare correspondence
- Communicate with clients, insurance companies, and medical providers
- Handle limited office administrative tasks
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor at all times

Requirements:

- Familiarity with other areas of law is advantageous
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail
