Law Firm Seeking Experienced Real Estate Paralegal in Atlanta Office
Overview:
Arnall Golden Gregory LLP (“AGG”) is a top-rated law firm with offices in Atlanta and Washington, . We are currently seeking a Real Estate Paralegal to join our dynamic team in the Atlanta office. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years’ experience as a paralegal, with a strong focus on real estate transactions. The Real Estate Paralegal will provide high-level support to our attorneys in the Real Estate department, working closely with low-income housing tax credits, affordable housing, and other real estate transactions with financing from various entities. This is a full-time, on-site position with the potential for overtime as needed.
Responsibilities:
As a Real Estate Paralegal, you will be responsible for providing support to our attorneys in the Real Estate department. Your primary duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Reviewing title commitments, title documents, and surveys for compliance and identifying objections
- Interacting with Title Agents and Surveyors to facilitate revisions as part of due diligence in closing work
- Maintaining due diligence of corporate and transactional documents
- Organizing documentation for financing and government review submissions
- Drafting real estate acquisition closing documents
- Drafting entity formation documents, such as articles of incorporation and operating agreements
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients to ensure timely information gathering
- Organizing and managing the closing process
- Maintaining file organization and creating closing binders
- Daily client contact
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a real estate paralegal in a mid-size or large law firm
- Bachelor’s Degree or ABA approved paralegal certificate preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Adobe software programs
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent organizational skills and self-initiation
Physical Requirements:
- This is an on-site position with controlled temperatures and limited exposure to noise and chemicals
- Mobility within the office, including movement between floors
- Occasional crouching, kneeling, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and lifting
- Regular use of personal computer, telephone, voicemail, and other office equipment
- Ability to communicate effectively through spoken word and convey detailed information concisely
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Hours: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 9:00 . – 5:30 .
