Job Title: Family Law Attorney

Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial client consultations to understand their legal needs and advise them accordingly.
- Manage cases from initiation to Permanent Orders, ensuring all legal processes are followed and deadlines are met.
- Draft and prepare a variety of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and agreements, to support client cases.
- Collaborate closely with paralegals to ensure smooth case progression to Permanent Orders, meeting regularly to review case status.
- Provide excellent client communication by regularly updating clients on case developments and addressing their concerns.
- Collaborate with managing attorneys biweekly to discuss case progress and strategize on the best approach for each case.
- Represent clients in court, mediation, and depositions, advocating for their interests and aiming for favorable outcomes.

Education and Experience Information:

- Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred, but not required.
- Experience in legal writing and legal research is essential, with a preference for candidates familiar with Lexis-Nexis.
- Understanding of the rules of discovery and rules of evidence is necessary.
- A strong background in family law and trial skills is required, with at least 2 years of experience as a family law attorney.
- Experience with taking a case from start to Permanent Orders, Post Decree experience, and experience with appeals is essential.
- Commitment to providing compassionate and client-centered legal services.
- Experience or interest in working with communities from diverse backgrounds.
- Must meet a minimum billing target each month.
- The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and detail-oriented, thriving in a collaborative environment while also being able to work independently.

Salary Information:
- Salary range is $100,000-$140,000 depending on experience.
- Competitive benefits including 401(k) matching, health insurance, paid holidays, and generous paid time off.
- Yearly stipend of $700 provided for continuing legal education (CLE) or Bar Association memberships.
