Duties and Responsibilities:

- Assess information and documents provided by clients
- Prepare pleadings
- Conduct research on case issues
- Oversee written discovery
- Take and defend depositions
- Prepare and argue motions in State and Federal Courts throughout New York
- Attend and defend/prosecute trials and other hearings
- Assist with contract review and preparation

Qualifications:

- JD from an ABA accredited Law School with strong academic credentials
- Admitted to the NY bar
- 1-6 years of commercial litigation experience with construction disputes
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple matters simultaneously

Salary Information:

- Total annual compensation range of $105,000 - $155,000
- Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law
- In addition to base salary, Kaufman Dolowich offers an annual discretionary bonus, performance-based bonus, and a full comprehensive benefits package
