Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full contract lifecycle for government and commercial contracts
- Lead negotiations for new contracts, modifications, and renewals
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations and organizational policies
- Support the deal desk in structuring and approving deals
- Monitor contract performance and mitigate risks
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
- Support the bid and proposal process
- Continuously evaluate and improve contract management processes
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Law, or related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in government and commercial contract management
- TS/SCI security clearance, read-in within the past two years
- Direct experience with government intelligence community in the past two years
- Proven expertise in government and commercial contracting
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Resilience, resourcefulness, and ability to make decisions with imperfect information
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in a fast-growing startup or within the Earth observation industry
- Experience supporting a deal desk function
- Background in program or contract management with government space-focused agencies
- A blend of experience in both law firm and in-house/government contracting settings
- Strong intellectual curiosity and commitment to continuous growth
- Familiarity with contract lifecycle and vendor management systems
- Engineering or other technology experience

The salary for this position ranges from $125,000 to $230,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
