Job Title: Insurance Defense Trial Attorney - Inland Empire/Orange County

Salary: $103,920 - $165,770, plus bonus potential up to 15% of salary

Job Description:
The Insurance Defense Trial Attorney will be responsible for the competent, ethical, and diligent representation of clients in all assigned cases. This may involve handling cases with unique legal or procedural issues and preparing pleadings, motions, discovery, and briefs. The attorney may also assist other attorneys in their cases and functionally supervise attorneys who have been requested to assist. Other responsibilities include consulting with and rendering opinions to members of the Claims Departments, keeping supervisors informed of work progress, and maintaining and updating computerized litigation support systems.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree
- Law school degree and member in good standing of the State Bar in the state of the position
- At least 3 years of experience as an Attorney
- Civil jury trial experience or equivalent dispositive ADR experience
- Ability to handle cases of moderate to great exposure and/or complexity with minimum supervision
- Public speaking skills
- Ability to handle high case loads in adversarial or confrontational situations
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
