**** is seeking highly motivated and talented 1L law students for our 2025 1L Summer Associate Program. This program is designed to provide students with a realistic view of practicing law and the tools to take ownership of their career from day one. Our Summer Associates have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects with different lawyers in various practice areas, participate in client meetings and closings, and observe and assist in trials, hearings, and depositions.
We are committed to the professional development and career aspirations of our associates. We offer coaching conversations at the earliest stages of an associate's career and provide development programs to help navigate their path, whether it leads to partnership, in-house with a client, or a position in government or other organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work on challenging and substantive assignments, including pro bono matters
• Receive mentoring from partners and associates
• Participate in interactive training workshops, including M&A and deposition skills
• Attend various social events for networking opportunities
• Receive guidance and detailed feedback on work product
• Observe and assist in trials, hearings, depositions, and negotiations
• Participate in client meetings and closings
Qualifications:
• Current 1L law student
• Outstanding academic credentials
• Superior writing skills
• Membership in Law Review, Journal, or Moot Court preferred
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Innovative thinking and achievement drive
• Interpersonal savvy and client service excellence
Salary Information:
The expected salary for this position is $4,327 per week.
