Paralegals play a crucial role in the legal industry, providing support to attorneys and other legal professionals. **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***., a leader in the generic and biosimilar medicines industry, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paralegal to join their team in Princeton, NJ. In this role, the Paralegal will assist with a variety of legal and compliance matters, including regulatory, mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, and corporate governance. The ideal candidate will have a Paralegal certificate or relevant degree, along with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the life science or pharmaceutical industry. This is a full-time, in-office position with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with regulatory and compliance matters, including monitoring deadlines and filing requirements
- Support mergers, acquisitions, and other business transactions
- Conduct legal research and summarize findings for attorneys
- Assist with budgeting process for legal and intellectual property matters
- Coordinate with internal departments and external parties on legal and business matters
- Maintain corporate records and prepare board resolutions
- Organize and manage legal files, ensuring compliance with document retention policies
- Prepare reports, presentations, and legal correspondence
- Liaise with global legal operations to support new matters and manage relationships with law firms
- Analyze and adapt processes to improve efficiency and identify areas for review and revision
- Handle other legal and administrative tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Paralegal certificate or relevant degree
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a paralegal role, preferably in the life science or pharmaceutical industry
- Thorough understanding of paralegal concepts, terminology, and principles
- Excellent writing, verbal communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with project and operations management
- Ability to comprehend and analyze legal opinions, legislation, and publications
- Familiarity with legal terminology, procedures, and document preparation
- High level of confidentiality and ethical standards
- Knowledge of IP and cross-functional policies and procedures is a plus
Location:
The position will be located in Princeton, NJ and is not eligible for remote work. Preference will be given to local candidates who do not require relocation.
Salary:
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $85,400 and $158,600/year. Final salary will depend on various factors, including geographical location, experience level, and skills and abilities. The total compensation package may also include a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and other benefits such as 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave.
