Litigation Paralegal The candidate should be highly motivated and possess a minimum of 5 years litigation experience, preferably in a regional or national law firm setting. Will assist and support all aspects of a heavy litigation practice including complex commercial litigation, corporate litigation, insurance coverage, and insurance litigation. Experience in Labor and Employment is also beneficial. Must possess a working knowledge of the Texas/Federal Rules of Civil Procedures and Texas Statutes and be able to effectively handle the multiple and varied responsibilities of case management and trial preparation; including drafting and analyzing legal documents, performing legal research, working with discovery documents in a fast-paced team environment, preparation of documents for electronic production, working knowledge of or the ability to learn e-discovery and litigation support software (including PACER, FileSite, Relativity, Casemap, Westlaw and Trial Director. Trial experience, as well as knowledge of summarizing medical records and organizing medical information for experts, depositions and trials is highly desired. The ability to exhibit meticulous attention to detail, and produce an accurate and high-quality work product are essential requirements for this position.
