Risk Management – Client Matter Lifecycle Clerk (1-3 years)

Responsibilities:

- Serve as point of contact for billing setup for partners and legal assistants
- Input and maintain client billing information in accounting database
- Review and verify accuracy of billing setup and documentation
- Communicate with attorneys and billing team to support billing information flow
- Ensure firm policies are followed and promote consistency in billing objectives
- Assist with special projects and ad hoc reports as needed

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in general accounting practices
- Minimum of 1 year experience with legal and/or electronic billing processes
- Experience with Aderant or Elite billing systems preferred
- Strong Excel skills and ability to analyze financial data
- Familiarity with legal documents and contracts
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Salary range: $35,000 - $50,000 (depending on experience)
