• Responsible for generating and presenting data analysis for various meetings and developing Power BI/Power App dashboards and financial reports.
• Must have 4+ years of relevant experience in budgeting, financial planning, analysis, or pricing and experience working in a law firm.
• Bachelor's degree required, with excellent proficiency in MS Office and Power BI/Power Apps.

• Full-time position with a hybrid work schedule, located primarily in Palo Alto, but with potential for other locations including San Francisco, New York, and Washington, .

Responsibilities:

• Generate and present data analysis for various meetings held throughout the year for the Board of Directors, Members, and Department Heads.
• Develop Power BI / Power App based profitability dashboards and financial reports and manage functionality once they are in production.
• Strategic ad-hoc analysis at the timekeeper, matter, and client levels for various Department Heads, Chiefs, and Senior Managers to highlight financial strengths and weaknesses.
• Prepare annual and quarterly industry surveys which track financial performance.
• Ownership of annual budget process for various departments.
• Proactively recommend and manage the implementation of process improvements to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of reporting, planning processes, and systems.
• Maintain compliance with all firm policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required, with 4+ years of relevant experience in budgeting, financial planning, analysis, or pricing.
• Must have experience working in a law firm.
• Excellent proficiency in MS Office – Word, Excel, Power Point.
• Excellent proficiency in Power BI and Power Apps.
• Strong technical, problem solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to present and communicate financial information in a meaningful and understandable way.
• Strong desire to learn and ask questions.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external clients.
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.

Compensation:

• Actual base pay offered will depend upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to the selected candidate’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, level of education, professional certifications and licenses, and work location.
• Anticipated pay range for this position is as follows:
- San Francisco and Silicon Valley: $102,000 - $138,000 per year
- Austin, Boston, Boulder, District of Columbia, Los Angeles, New York, San Diego, Seattle, and Wilmington: $91,800 - $124,200 per year
- Salt Lake City and all other locations: $81,600 - $110,400 per year
